The role of a Senior Connected Devices Expert entails leading a regionally-focused team in Presales and Professional Services activities, promoting our technologies and being a trusted advisor to customers. The team is responsible for solution architecture, design, and delivery, requiring the manager to be located in one of three Geos: Americas, EMEA, or APAC.

This career opportunity requires a unique blend of skills, including extensive experience with embedded Linux, proficiency in coding languages such as Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust, and the ability to manage a small team. Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability are essential.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services
  • Solving customer problems by promoting our technologies and being a trusted advisor
  • Working remotely in a single major time zone
  • Coaching, mentoring, and offering career development feedback
  • Identifying and measuring team health indicators
  • Implementing disciplined engineering processes
  • Representing your team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Developing and evangelizing great engineering and organizational practices
  • Planning and managing progress on agreed goals and projects
  • Being an active part of the leadership team, collaborating with other leaders
