Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead our Product Design and Virtual Simulation teams. As a key member of our Powertrain Engineering team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the transport industry.
Your responsibilities will include developing standards, conducting packaging studies, and technical analysis to solve design issues, as well as managing two teams of around 15 people. You will be responsible for ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope, while also executing a strong competence development plan.
- Design and Packaging: Developing design solutions, conducting design reviews, and utilizing 3D printing and virtual & augmented reality.
- Virtual Simulation: Model development and validation, integration of simulation tools, and results analysis and interpretation.
You will be part of a global community within Design and FEA simulation, with members in all sites. We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment, with opportunities for professional and personal growth.
Key RequirementsWe expect you to have a Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent Engineering degree, as well as broad knowledge and experience in the automotive industry, especially within the area of Powertrain. You should also have leadership experience and competences related to people's leading, as well as good knowledge of Simulation tools, Product Technical Design, and PDM documentation.
