Job Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled individual to fill a challenging role in software support.

  • The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced engineering environment, responsible for Linux-based infrastructure and applications.
  • Complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes and other open source software will be the focus of their work.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and driving issues to resolution with workarounds, guidance, and bug fixes to be released upstream and in Ubuntu.
  • Developing bug fixes, backporting patches, and working with upstream for inclusion.
  • Reviewing code produced by other engineers.
  • Prioritizing work and managing time effectively against those priorities.
Key Qualifications:
  • An exceptional academic record.
  • A background in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field.
  • Experience with Linux and open source software.
  • Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, C, or C++ on Linux.
