You will be working with a talented team of professionals to provide expert-level support to customers using Ubuntu and other open-source products.
- As a software engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support experiences across cloud, desktop, and IoT platforms.
- You will own and manage your cases from problem qualification to full resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting service level agreements.
- Additionally, you will contribute new knowledge base articles, maintain existing ones, and draft technical notices for internal and external communication.
- Participating in a regular weekend working rotation, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and develop strong teamwork skills.
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or alternative path with compelling narrative
- Confidence to respectfully speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation
- Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results
- Experience with Linux troubleshooting and knowledge of Linux server administration, programming fundamentals, networking, and virtualization/cloud computing concepts
