About the Job

As a Dishwasher and Sanitation Specialist, you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Caring and inspecting all flatware, tableware, and kitchen equipment to ensure a superior sanitization standard.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other assigned areas.
  • Picking up and disposing of all trash in all food and beverage areas.
  • Ensuring all breakages and chipped items are taken out of circulation and inventoried.
  • Reporting any instances of concern to F&B leadership, including any items or equipment in need of repair.
  • Clean all dishes, glass wear, cutlery, buffet ware, pots, and pans either by hand or by using an industrial dishwasher.
  • Ensuring the kitchen and banquet colleagues have the needed clean dishes, glass wear, cutlery, buffet ware, pots, and pans required to service our guests.
  • Sorting, stacking, and storing all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
  • Ensuring items are removed from circulation that are no longer functional.
  • Ensuring floors are being kept up with proper sweeping and mopping and clear of hazards and obstruction.
  • FOLLOWING department policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Consistently offering professional, engaging, and friendly service.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Your Experience and Skills

We are looking for individuals with previous experience, who are self-motivated and able to make effective decisions. You should be able to demonstrate initiative and work with minimal supervision, possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Organized and a great team player, you should be able to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times. Ability to work independently from a task list to complete tasks is essential.

Physical Aspects of Position

The position requires constant standing and walking throughout the shift, frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs, occasional kneeling, pushing, and pulling, occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps, and working in humid and hot environments.
