About the Role
Our team seeks a seasoned Collections Expert to join our Order to Cash division. As a critical member of this group, you will ensure timely and efficient collection of outstanding payments from valued customers. Your analytical skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners will be essential in driving cash flow and minimizing delinquencies.

In this key position, you will oversee collections portfolios, serving as the primary point of contact for Collections, Order to Cash, and Service Delivery teams. You will collaborate closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to address customer inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and implement effective collection strategies. Additionally, you will work closely with the BPO organization to achieve best-in-class results on assigned portfolios while ensuring alignment with stakeholders and maintaining exceptional customer experiences.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. If you have a proven track record in managing large AR portfolios, leveraging financial software, and fostering strong relationships with customers and vendors, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of collections portfolios and collaboration with internal teams to drive cash flow and minimize delinquencies.
  • Implementation of effective collection strategies and tactics to improve cash flow, reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimize bad debt write-offs.
  • Collaboration with the BPO organization to ensure best-in-class results on assigned portfolios.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Collections Analyst or equivalent role, with a proven track record in managing large AR portfolios.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience working with customers in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries, including local payment practices and invoicing specifics.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and credit risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using financial software, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP), and MS Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
