**Position Overview**:
TikTok is seeking a stellar Collections Specialist o join our Sao Paulo office. In this role, you will handle AR related activities and improve debt collection processes in the LATAM region, among other responsibilities.
**Responsibilities**:
Review finance clauses in customer contracts, especially their financial terms. Process of refunds, top-ups, etc. to ensure financial compliance.
Support the monthly billing issues and ensure timely and accurate invoicing to customers; Follow up with clients to assure payment on the due date. Respond to clients disputes and requests for information.
Execute debt collection activities for an assigned portfolio of customers in a dedicated region. Enable agreement of customer re-payment plans. To monitor and track progress on action plans. To manage process to suspend customer services in event of continued non-payment, in line with TikTok agreed disconnection procedure.
Work collaboratively with other TikTok teams to resolve issues affecting cash collection or raise issues which may impact on customer satisfaction.
Maintain an effective liaison relationship with Sales, Operations and Finance departments and make recommendations on process improvements to reduce credit risk and lower DSO.
Other collection related tasks, such as internal team meetings, cross-functional collaboration, bad debt reporting, collection agency activities, communicate interdepartmentally to service clients and business needs.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in AR related activities and familiarity with the digital advertising industry is a plus.
Excellent communication skills
English fluency required due to communication with external stakeholders
Good analytical and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
