This role focuses on secure software development and cloud-native defense, partnering with engineering squads to improve application security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with dev teams to validate vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation guidance.
  • Drive threat modeling sessions for critical systems and APIs.
  • Design and implement automated processes for securely updating applications and code dependencies.
  • Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Semgrep and Snyk.
  • Contribute to runtime security initiatives, including container hardening and RASP.
  • Build a security dashboard to track remediation status and metrics.
  • Provide real-time support during cybersecurity incidents.
  • Partner with the Cloud Security team on automation tasks and monitoring improvements.
  • Conduct research on new threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques relevant to our architecture.
  • Collaborate with the GRC team to develop internal security awareness initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Fluent English with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey security risks.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in app sec, penetration testing, and/or secure code development.
  • Hands-on experience with SAST and DAST tools.
  • Deep understanding of web, mobile, and API vulnerabilities.
  • Proven experience performing code reviews and writing clear reports.
  • Proficiency in backend languages and React front-ends.
  • Familiarity with secure microservices architectures.
  • Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and integrating AppSec tooling.
  • Solid knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes fundamentals.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles.
  • Comfortable with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
