Job Opportunity: Mental Health Coach

You will be a key practitioner on our telehealth platform, supporting clients' mental health and personal growth based on individual needs and goals.

This is a flexible freelance remote role with the option to decide business hours. We welcome local candidates but also consider others.

This role is ideal for Clinical Psychologists and Counsellors looking to supplement their current job or private practice.

As part of our community, you will collaborate with us to bring greater mental health access to the public by providing mental health coaching services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1-on-1 telehealth or onsite mental health support for clients.
  • Focusing on clinical cases such as depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders, addiction etc.
  • Collaborate with our internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent accredited programme.
  • Active registration as a psychologist with the Regional Psychology Council (Conselho Regional de Psicologia - CRP), under the oversight of the Federal Council of Psychology (CFP).
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience and 500 supervised clinical hours (excluding internships and academic placements).
  • Skilful in Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches.
    • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT)
    • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
    • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for trauma survivors
    • Somatic Experiencing (SE)
  • Must hold valid and active licenses applicable to the country of practice.
  • One supervision session every 2 months.
  • Proficiency in English and your local language.
  • Prior experience with EAP and/or adult counseling.
  • Openness to occasional onsite work, if necessary.
