Electrical Distribution Project Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Distribution Project Engineer to join our team of Power Delivery professionals.

This role involves preparing technical aspects and deliverables associated with the conceptual and detailed design of overhead and underground electric power distribution systems, distribution system planning, lighting design, grounding, and lightning protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all technical aspects and deliverables related to the conceptual and detailed design of overhead and underground electric power distribution systems, distribution system planning, lighting design, grounding, and lightning protection.
  • Coordinate the preparation of construction packages for overhead and underground distribution lines, including plan and profile drawings, structure assemblies and details, stringing charts, staking tables, bills of material, and other applicable details.
  • Assign tasks and provide guidance to junior team members, coordinating quality control reviews for work performed by EITs and/or Designers.
  • Identify and implement learning opportunities for EITs and/or Designers through methods such as job shadowing, assigning specific project tasks, and providing feedback on performance.
Requirements and Qualifications:

Applicants must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required, with relevant industry experience preferred.
