About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Procurement Strategist, who will oversee the strategic procurement of aviation parts, equipment, and services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement or purchasing within the aviation industry, with a strong understanding of aviation regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities include conducting market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, developing sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and ensure supply chain resilience, and managing the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, supplier coordination, and delivery management.

The Procurement Strategist will also lead the selection and negotiation process for key suppliers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives, implement best practices and processes to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness, and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to forecast demand and manage inventory accordingly.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field, advanced / Fluent English is mandatory, and relevant certifications or degrees may be advantageous.

Technical Skills required for this position include Excel, Outlook, ERPs, and PowerBI.

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and supplier relationships.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and ensure supply chain resilience.

  • Oversee the procurement of aviation parts, equipment, and services, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, supplier coordination, and delivery management.
  • Implement best practices and processes to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
