Job Overview

Our client, a global energy industry leader, is undertaking a multi-year digitalization journey to standardize and streamline operations using SAP S/4HANA.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support the Record-to-Report process with a focus on Controlling (CO) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
  2. Configure and maintain cost element accounting, cost center accounting, internal orders, and profit centers in SAP.
  3. Set up and support account-based and costing-based CO-PA structures, value fields, and characteristics.
  4. Perform variance analysis, actual vs. planned cost comparisons, and profitability reporting during UAT.
  5. Monitor and support month-end close activities for CO modules, including assessments, distributions, settlements, and allocations.
  6. Analyze and resolve system or process issues in collaboration with clients' IT and business stakeholders.
  7. Provide input into design of enhancements and process improvements.
  8. Document configurations, business processes, and training materials.
  9. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulatory requirements.
Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience in SAP CO and CO-PA configuration and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including record-to-report and month-end close.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
