Data Center Technician Job Summary

As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure. Your responsibility will be to maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, network equipment, and other related systems.

This includes tasks such as network cabling installation and maintenance, computer hardware troubleshooting, repair, and parts replacement, as well as maintaining entry-level experience with Linux, Unix, or similar operating systems.

You must also adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing physical tasks such as lifting equipment up to 18kg.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network cabling installation and maintenance
  • Computer hardware troubleshooting, repair, and parts replacement
  • Entry-level experience with Linux, Unix, or similar operating systems
  • Able to follow technical standard operational procedures (SOP)
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Portuguese
Requirements:
  • Ongoing Bachelor or Associate degree in IT-related fields
  • Proven minimum experience of 6 months in related areas
  • Familiarity with data centers or mission-critical environments
  • Hands-on experience with network cabling and network gear installation
  • Able to work with ticketing prioritization systems
  • Highly organized and able to follow procedures
