Job Description

The role of a legal assistant or paralegal involves providing high-quality support to a team by conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal briefs, memoranda, and other documents.

This exciting opportunity is for a licensed attorney in their home country who wants to work with a dynamic team as a legal professional.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research on assigned matters, analyzing case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Draft and review complex legal briefs, memoranda, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in the preparation of court documents, pleadings, and motions.
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to our team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve processes and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • License to practice law in your home country.
  • 1+ year of experience working with U.S.-based law firms.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
