Position Overview

The HR Systems & Process Analyst for the Americas region plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of Global and Regional HR processes within Evonik's HR systems. This position is focused on driving technical advancements and improvements in HR processes that positively influence outcomes, elevate user satisfaction, and support the achievement of HR objectives in the Americas.

The Analyst will deliver HR Systems support encompassing implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements of Global and Regional HR systems. Responsibilities include managing system modifications related to daily operations and collaborating with the HR organization and Evonik's IT function to resolve issues. This role requires close cooperation with various HR stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and functional consultancy on HR Systems to the HR community.
  • Serve as a systems authority for HR applications in the Americas, addressing system inquiries and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Global HR and IT teams on system improvements, testing, and data quality assurance.
  • Address HR Systems challenges related to data integrity and interfaces with internal systems.
  • Oversee multiple HR Systems projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
  • Support Workday processes and queries for the Americas, coordinating with HR teams.
  • Identify and resolve integration issues, testing changes, and supporting various HR functions.
  • Participate in M&A projects, managing timelines and technical aspects.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including specifications and training materials.
  • Assist in maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Support audit processes related to HR systems and data security compliance.
  • Identify system enhancement opportunities and stay informed on HR technology trends.
  • Engage with the Workday Community to share best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships and external support requests.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their HR technology needs.
  • Utilize business analysis skills to gather requirements and guide stakeholders.
  • Lead user acceptance testing sessions and manage incident resolution processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Experience with Workday business processes is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years in HR, with a focus on core areas such as Benefits, Payroll, and Recruitment.
  • Background in HR Operations, particularly in payroll and data management, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR systems integration and interaction.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven improvements.
  • Problem-solving skills with an emphasis on accuracy and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and regulatory issues.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
  • This role may involve limited travel as needed.
