Senior Specialist, Data Privacy Compliance

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Specialist to join our Global Privacy team. This is a key role that will drive strategic initiatives and contribute significantly to the company's data protection efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • This individual will support the Americas Data Privacy Officer in implementing key data protection initiatives across the global business.
  • As a Privacy expert for the Americas businesses, this professional will provide guidance on all aspects of privacy, including performing Data Protection Impact Assessments, reviewing Data Protection Agreements/clauses, supporting supplier due diligence, marketing initiatives, embedding privacy by design into projects, responding to data subjects' rights requests and data breaches.
  • This specialist will also develop and deliver engaging and helpful training and awareness programs.
  • This expert will stay up-to-date on privacy and AI regulation and advise on required/desired adaptations and improvements to the company's Privacy and Responsible AI Programmes.

Qualifications/Education:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
  • Qualified to practice law (in Brazil and Colombia) or equivalent jurisdiction OR CIPP or equivalent data protection qualification and industry experience.
  • Familiarity with data protection regimes (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PIPL, etc.).
  • Fluent English level.
  • Fluent Spanish level.
