Senior Specialist, Data Privacy Compliance

We are seeking a talented Data Privacy Compliance Manager/Counsel to join our Global Privacy team. Reporting to the Americas Data Privacy Officer, you will assist with driving key data protection initiatives across our global business.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders across the business, promoting a strong culture of handling and managing personal data sensitively and effectively.

  • Support our Americas Data Privacy Officer to deliver the Privacy Team's global strategy in Americas by being the primary point of contact for the LATAM businesses and monitoring legal and regulatory developments across the region.
  • Serve as a Privacy expert for our Americas businesses, working closely with and advising businesses and clinical leaders, counsel, and other colleagues on all aspects of privacy.
  • Support the Americas Data Privacy Officer in maturing the regional Privacy Programme to develop, refine, and simplify scalable policies, processes, and systems to protect patient, healthcare professional, and employee data while enabling the business to fulfill its mission of creating pioneering healthcare solutions.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a compliance, legal, audit, or risk function with a solid focus on data protection matters.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading on a range of privacy projects and issues.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to take a pragmatic approach to legal risk.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Interest in technology and AI.
