Senior Technical Strategist

This role is a critical contributor and technical leader within the engineering organization. The ideal candidate drives the long-term technical vision of the platform, guiding how to design, build, and evolve scalable, reliable systems across multiple squads.

As a high-impact technical leader, you combine deep technical contributions with influential cross-team collaboration, helping shape the future of the platform to better serve customers.

  • Lead cross-squad architecture efforts, shaping and evolving technical direction across multiple domains.
  • Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant systems to ensure outstanding performance and reliability as customer base grows.
  • Champion Domain-Driven Design (DDD) practices and empower teams to structure software around clear, maintainable domain boundaries.
  • Advocate for and guide adoption of event-driven system design using tools such as Kafka and SQS.

Working in a remote environment, self-managing PTO, and enjoying flexible work hours. Access to latest MacBook or PC and setup fee.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years experience designing, building, and operating complex production systems, with deep expertise in Ruby/RoR and proficiency in multiple programming languages.
