Data Driven Fraud Specialist

The core of our product is built using production machine learning models developed by the Data Science team. These models minimize fraud exposure for businesses and enhance the e-commerce shopping experience for individuals.
We have end-to-end ownership of our decisioning engine, from research to online performance and risk management.
Our team prioritizes collaboration and team ownership, ensuring no one feels alone in solving complex problems.
We share knowledge through peer review, group study sessions, live demos, and cross-team projects.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing machine learning models that identify fraud
- Researching new fraud patterns with our Risk Intelligence team
- Improving key components of our Commerce Protection Platform
- Communicating complex ideas to various audiences
- Collaborating with engineering teams to strengthen our machine-learning pipeline
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Post-undergrad degree in computer science or a comparable field
- 5+ years of post-undergrad work experience required
- Experience leading projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Machine learning and statistical background
Bonus points if you have:
- Previous experience in fraud, payments, or e-commerce
- Data analysis in a distributed environment
- Passion for writing well-tested code
