Job Title

The Quality Manager role requires protecting the customer's interests. This involves creating and implementing a quality strategy, working with cross-functional teams to achieve targets, and managing investments in quality equipment.

A key aspect of this position is providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to the Quality team, promoting continuous development and growth. Identifying high-potential talent and mentoring them is crucial for accelerating their development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing quality plans aligned with plant objectives;
  • Leading a team of supervisors, engineers, specialists, inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians;
  • Collaborating with management to initiate and control investments in quality equipment;
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, such as IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001;
  • Maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and ensuring their performance meets quality expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University degree in engineering, science, quality management, or related field;
  • Post-graduation in Quality or Business field desirable;
  • Advanced/Fluent English knowledge;
  • Knowledge of Lean production/CBS principles, methods, and tools;
  • Human relations skills (team skills, open-mindedness, negotiation);
  • Project management skills, tools, and techniques;
  • Six Sigma certification advantageous;
  • Tools Core Tools (8D, MSA, FMEA, CEP, APQP, PPAP) expertise;
  • Concepts of the ISO 14001 standard;
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training;
  • VDA Auditor Training 6.3;
  • Certified ISO/TS 16949 auditor qualification.
