Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Professional to join our team. As a Domain Consultant, you will play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure our customers' business imperatives.

Your primary responsibility will be to evangelize our industry-leading cloud security solutions and establish our company as a customer's cybersecurity partner of choice.

You will work closely with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your assigned specialization area. Your expertise will be required to present to customers at all levels, from practitioner to senior leadership.

In this role, you will also assist and collaborate with the account team to respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs. Additionally, you will lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value proposition.

You will be responsible for scoping and leading Proof of Value (PoV) projects for prospective customers and partners based on best practices to ensure technical win in your assigned opportunities.

As a Domain Consultant, you will drive high technical validation and PoV win rates within your assigned specialization area. You will also be responsible for discussing and highlighting product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.

Furthermore, you will architect solutions that help our customers strengthen and simplify their security posture. You will accelerate technical validation of proposed solutions within your specialization and document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases to ensure proper implementation and value realization of our solutions.

Additionally, you will help our customers build and develop further their services around Prisma Cloud. You will lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape.

It is essential to discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative. You will also position Palo Alto Networks or Partner delivered services as appropriate to ensure proper implementation and value realization of our solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years technical sales or equivalent experience highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience using IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager etc) and CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc)
  • Experience with Alicloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud configuration and administration of security features and services (including identity and access management, networking, firewalls, encryption)
  • Deep experience in one or more cloud security areas such as Shift Left, CSPM, CWP, KSPM, CIEM, DSPM, AI-SPM
  • Background in security domain or cloud security highly preferred
  • Understanding of container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
