Our Retail Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our business by effectively managing vendor relationships, analyzing business data, and developing strategic partnerships.

  • CUSTOMERS: They possess category-specific customer knowledge, emerging product trends, and market segment evolution. They drive customer-facing system improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • VENDORS: As ultimate owners of vendor relationships, they are responsible for auditing, escalating performance, negotiating terms, and developing long-term partnerships with top vendors.
  • CENTRAL AND FUNCTIONAL TEAMS: As a business owner, they represent customer and business needs in interactions with central teams, projects, and initiatives. They implement centrally driven initiatives within the category to drive CX or cost improvements.
A Day in the Life

Retail Managers own the retail business end-to-end, including the entire P&L, from topline down to free cash flow. They manage inputs by driving selection, securing great prices, and increasing convenience/speed to accelerate Amazon's flywheel.

Requirements

  • Team management experience;
  • Account management, project or program management, or buying experience;
  • Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing, and promotion or inventory management;
  • Master's degree;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL;
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions;
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration;
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
