We are seeking a highly skilled IT Product Owner to lead our Manufacturing team in the Americas. As a key member of our IT & Data Americas organization, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the Product Vision for Manufacturing, creating and maintaining the overall backlog for projects and evolutions, and driving the transition to digital manufacturing technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Own the vision of the Manufacturing product, its definition, and the associated value.
- Be accountable for building and sustaining the backlog, arbitrating among different needs and priorities, and the delivery and performance of the IT Manufacturing technologies.
- Ensure consistency between the needs of end-users and stakeholders as reflected in the vision of the product, its delivery, and its deployment & adoption.
- Understand the business needs and translate them into the backlog with the support of Product Analyst(s), envisioning different solutions to those needs.
- Evaluate the costs and benefits of different options with input from the product squad to optimize value creation. Own the cost model of the product.
- Prioritize, plan, and communicate on the steps identified to deliver the product.
- Handle simultaneously product discovery and delivery in an adaptative, incremental and iterative manner.
- Establish partnership with leading technology providers.
- Define, implement, and actively use actionable KPIs to manage the reach and quality of IT Manufacturing technologies and to identify potential risks and opportunities.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's or master's degree within a Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. You should have experience delivering IT Manufacturing technologies, demonstrated experience with one or multiple Technology products and platforms, such as SAP PP, SAP PM, SAP MM, MES (Manufacturing Engineering System), and newer Digital Technologies (IoT, paperless technologies). Experience in leading and building multicultural, remote teams is also required. Fluency in English and Spanish is a must.
