Junior Landscape Architect Drafting Professional

As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate with senior professionals to develop precise technical drawings and plans for residential projects.

With your expertise in AutoCAD and familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator, you will support the pre-design and preliminary design phases.

This role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic team working on high-end residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing pre-design deliverables, including survey base sheets, inventory base sheets, proposed base sheets, and inventory proposed base sheets to support project initialization.
  • Drafting schematic designs in collaboration with the design team using AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Drafting preliminary designs while ensuring feasibility, aesthetics, and alignment with client vision.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with local codes and regulations as directed by the design team.
  • Collaborating with team members to refine designs and advance project goals.
  • Updating drafts based on feedback and revisions to align with project standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Foundational understanding of landscape architecture principles, especially for residential design.
  • Self-sufficiency and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

Remote work from a home office with a collaborative culture. We use communication tools to stay connected and aligned on goals.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $15-$25/hr based on experience.
  • Minimum 3% annual inflation-based increase.
  • Annual performance-based hourly increases.
