Global Demand Planning Lead

We're seeking a skilled professional to lead the development of our global demand planning process under the Aurora program. This expert will need to consider existing processes and varying market conditions, dynamics, and data as the team designs the process and technical solution of the future.

  • Lead the development of the global design for demand planning, considering existing processes and market conditions.
  • Implement, optimize, and enhance state-of-the-art statistical forecasting models in conjunction with vendors.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on volume and trade modeling for Demand Planning, collaborating with business units and ensuring alignment with business initiatives.
  • Develop and communicate Key Performance Indicators for modeling and related software tools or processes.
About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our demand planning process. As a Global Demand Planning Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of our global demand planning process, implementing and optimizing statistical forecasting models, and serving as a subject matter expert on volume and trade modeling.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales planning, field teams, and IT, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Your expertise will be essential in driving business outcomes and improving our demand planning process.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of business experience in statistically oriented demand planning environments, using commercially available systems.
  • Experience in large-scale DP process/system/tool deployment is preferred.
  • Excellent math, statistics, and analytical skills, with knowledge of business customers and customer issues, system optimization, training, and influencing.
