The Facilities Specialist is responsible for evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to optimize performance. This role requires analyzing data, blueprints, and reports to determine facility and equipment specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gathering and interpreting data, blueprints, and reports to inform decision-making.
- Determining facility and equipment requirements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyzing project costs and preparing budget plans to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansions, layouts, systems, and quality controls.
- Developing process improvement plans and optimizing resource allocation to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
- Planning and coordinating maintenance schedules and activities.
- Coordinating contractors performing maintenance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
- Preparing reports and documentation to maintain accurate records.
