We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment professional to manage Victorian and Tasmanian operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive health and safety expert with a strong track record of positive stakeholder engagement.

The role requires onsite presence and periodic intrastate and interstate travel. Reporting into the Executive General Manager Victoria & Tasmania, key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice on HSEQ compliance and risk management to stakeholders at various levels
  • Maintaining a sound knowledge of current legislation, policies, and guidelines
  • Facilitating audits to ensure HSEQ systems and activities are implemented, effective, and compliant with legislative and company requirements
  • Providing advice and support across injury and incident management processes
  • Managing Workers Compensation claims and liaising with employees and insurers
  • Working towards achieving optimal outcomes for Return to Work claims

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrable experience in implementing WHS audits and managing a HSEQ portfolio
  • Verified skills in managing Workers Compensation claims and injury claims
  • Well-organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • Return to Work certification is desirable
  • A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police check
