Strategic Credit Leader

Job Description:

The Strategic Credit Leader is responsible for leading the credit function, aligning business growth with risk management. This role oversees team leadership, credit analysis, process governance, and implementation of strategic structures like FIDC or other credit solutions.

As a key partner to Sales, the successful candidate will ensure sustainable and compliant credit practices, supporting revenue generation while mitigating financial risks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of financial indicators, credit decision models, and risk frameworks, with proven experience in credit analysis, risk management, and financial statement review.

Responsibilities include leadin the credit team, setting goals, monitoring performance, and fostering technical growth. The Strategic Credit Leader will analyze and approve credit limits based on customer profiles, financials, and market data, as well as monitor the credit portfolio, reassessing limits and exposures in line with customer behavior and sales planning.

Additional responsibilities include implementing seasonal and strategic credit projects aligned with billing and commercial forecasts, overseeing the structuring and day-to-day management of internal FIDC, ensuring compliance with credit, liquidity, and operational risk policies, and supervising key processes such as Serasa consultations, insurance policy controls, fintech billing partnerships, and interest rate governance.

The Strategic Credit Leader will also ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, supporting audits and maintaining credit governance, and continuously review and enhance credit policies and procedures based on market trends and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in credit analysis, risk management, and financial statement review.
  • Strong knowledge of financial indicators, credit decision models, and risk frameworks.
  • Previous experience leading teams and cross-functional projects.
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Risk Management, or related areas.
  • Experience managing FIDC structures or similar credit investment instruments.
  • Experience with credit fintechs plugged on billing process.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced English.
