As a seasoned professional, you will lead and transform our property facultative business in one of Latin America's most dynamic markets. This strategic role offers the chance to drive origination of profitable business while maintaining underwriting quality and preserving portfolio value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the P&C Facultative underwriting strategy for Brazil and South Cone markets;
  • Drive sales and underwriting initiatives to position Swiss Re in the Brazilian & South Cone markets;
  • Lead and empower the local team, promoting professional development;
  • Collaborate across business units and functions to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients;
  • Supervise and steer the P&C Facultative portfolio in Brazil & South Cone;
About the Role:

In this leadership position, you will have full P&L responsibility and ownership of client relationships. You will be responsible for developing solutions corresponding to client needs and promoting innovation through new business solutions and products.

Requirements:
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Property and Casualty re/insurance underwriting, including excellent understanding of the Brazilian and South Cone markets, products, and trends;
  • Knowledge of the Brazilian insurance regulatory environment;
  • Track record as a successful sales leader and dealmaker in originating new business;
  • Management skills in developing people, being a motivational mentor who can unlock potential in others;
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, additional languages appreciated;
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience in Latin American markets beyond Brazil;
  • Experience with innovative solutions and differentiated products;
  • Ability to navigate global corporate environments while adapting strategies to local context;
  • Experience in digital transformation within the insurance sector.
