Job Overview

The Senior HR Manager, South America role is a multifaceted position that requires a blend of operational management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end delivery of HR operational activities to approximately 400 employees across 7 SAM countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources Generalist: Managing the entire employee life cycle, overseeing operations communications, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and managing the hiring and termination processes across SAM.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Overseeing the timely completion of the 'Payroll Tracker', supporting the SAM Payroll Team with HR-related queries, managing SAM employee benefits vendors, and ensuring new starters are added to, and leavers are removed from, the relevant company benefit schemes.
  • Reporting & Audit: Preparing and maintaining business reports, supporting the preparation and delivery of ad-hoc report requests, including internal and external audit reports and data requests.
  • HRIS and Compliance: Acting as an HCM Initiator for SAM, supporting the HRIS function with new hires and processing leavers, and managing HR Operations projects with international stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in a HR Operations based role at advisor or above level in Brazil plus desired experience with other South American countries management.
  • Minimum of advanced English required, and proficient Spanish will be a differentiator.
  • Experience of managing a small team / prior individual line management experience.
