The role of a Project Officer is to provide assistance to the Programme Coordinator in planning and implementing development programmes and projects in the field of culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in mapping out the development stage of topics under UNESCO's mandate in culture and the need for technical cooperation in Brazil.
  • Contribute to the preparation of UBO's framework and planning documents.
  • Propose annual action plans for specific themes.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
  • Good IT skills.

Requirements:

  • Advanced university degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, or Culture related fields.
  • Previous experience in planning and implementation of development programmes and projects.
  • Experience in managing technical cooperation projects' activities and expenditures.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
