Rural Development Specialist

As a specialist in rural extension and sociobiodiversity, you will play a crucial role in enhancing family farming practices in Brazil.
- You will develop a comprehensive diagnosis of agricultural technical cooperation (ATER) calls focused on sociobiodiversity, as well as an operational manual for monitoring, evaluation, and systematization of experiences linked to ATER calls.
- Meet with internal teams to prepare products, conduct site visits to gather information, and map research projects to secure funding for product development.
- Prepare detailed studies, conduct technical site visits, and participate in meetings to present findings to managers and coordinators.
- Gather data from Brazilian parliamentary systems, systematize the information, and assist in organizing meetings with managers responsible for ATER calls and/or parliamentarians.
- Hold a degree in Applied Social Sciences.
- Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in research related to public policies aimed at family farming.
- Possess working knowledge of English and Portuguese.
- Be a national of Brazil or hold a valid work permit.
