Senior Agricultural Development Specialist

As a senior professional in agricultural development, you will be instrumental in driving impactful projects and initiatives that promote sustainable growth and rural development.
Key Responsibilities:- Portfolio execution: assist in project management, planning, and implementation; provide technical expertise, identify risks, draft documents, and support missions and consultant teams.
- Evaluation: contribute to the definition of performance indicators and methodologies, monitor results, and collaborate on impact reports.
- Operations design: assist in preparing new loan and technical cooperation operations.
- Policy dialogue: engage in sectoral discussions, identify financing opportunities, and help produce knowledge products.
- Internal coordination: collaborate with Bank teams, support portfolio management, and facilitate communications across departments.
- Other tasks: carry out responsibilities assigned by the Team Leader related to this contract.
- Education: Master's degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in agriculture, environment, or rural development.
- Experience: At least 15 years of progressive experience in agriculture, environment, and/or rural development. Proven track record in project design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages is required.
