We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting inclusive and sustainable industrial development (ISID) in Member States.
About the Role:
The Technical Development Specialist will be responsible for implementing projects that support the development of industrial capacities in various countries. This will involve working closely with governments, private sector companies, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that address these needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans that align with UNIDO's strategic priorities;
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for industrial development;
- Collaborate with governments and private sector companies to build capacity and promote investment;
- Provide technical assistance to help countries develop their industrial capabilities;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, economics, or business administration;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably with a focus on industrial development;
- Proven track record of success in project implementation and management;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
