Job Summary:
This position is a technical specialist focused on rural extension and technical assistance. The job involves working closely with the national government, local farmers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and programs aimed at poverty reduction and rural revitalization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human sciences or agrarian studies, along with significant experience working on projects and/or programs related to family farming. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The selected individual will work under the supervision of the Assistant Representative in FAO Brazil - Programme and will be responsible for carrying out analyses and evaluations of the instrument and procedures for the preparation and processing of Guidelines for Technical Assistance and Rural Extension services. Additionally, they will perform tasks such as analyzing Ater Action Guidelines documents, attending events and technical meetings, and presenting proposals for new methodologies.
The role requires a high level of expertise in agricultural development, extension services, and policy analysis. Proficiency in English, Spanish, or Portuguese is required, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment is essential.

Requirements:
- University degree in Human Sciences Agrarian or Human Sciences
- Minimum 08 (eight) years of experience in projects and/or programs and/or public policies aimed at Family Farming
- Working knowledge (level C) of English or Spanish and Portuguese
- National of Brazil or resident
