We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Polinize. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payments and undertaking the payments of all creditors in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
**Key Responsibilities**:
• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial procedures and policies.
• Perform routine financial transactions, including classifying, verifying, posting, computing, and recording all accounts receivable data.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and accurately posted.
• Prepare invoices, bills, and bank deposits.
• Facilitate pending invoices by contacting clients and sending bill reminders.
• Verify any discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
• Generate financial reports and statements detailing the status of accounts receivable.
**Requirements**:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
• Sound understanding of basic accounting payable principles and bookkeeping.
• Expertise in calculating, posting, and managing all financial records and accounting figures.
• Quick data entry skills.
• Hands-on experience with proprietary programs and spreadsheets.
• Excellent customer service orientation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and English.
