Job Title: Financial Statement Reconciliation Specialist
At World Business Lenders LLC, we are seeking a skilled financial analyst to assist in the preparation and reconciliation of company financial statements.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the financial team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of select general ledger accounts, including cash and accrual accounts.
- Work closely with loan administration to record updates and related data in the accounting system.
- Generate annual 1099s and file with the IRS.
- Special projects include automation of processes through internal initiatives or third-party vendors and other duties as assigned by the Corporate Controller.
- Monitor and review vendor payments, accounts payable aging analysis, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Set up wires, ACH, and book transfers, and communicate with vendors as required.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and transactions.
- Proficiency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years' experience in general accounting and demonstrated technical knowledge.
- Experience with Sage GL and AP preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and proactive approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic.
