Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

At the forefront of technological innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead our data team in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance, secure, and reliable data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing and optimizing complex data pipelines, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines that integrate multiple data sources and provide real-time insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve data pipeline performance and efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in developing and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with databases, data modeling, and SQL.
  • Effective English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Python or Scala.
  • Ability to work well in teams and interact effectively with others.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Cloud platforms and services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
