Lead Full Stack Engineer Job Description

Job Summary: As a Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a full-stack team focused on real-time, customer-facing platforms. You will guide architectural decisions and define the overall technical direction, developing scalable applications using Node.js, React, and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a full-stack team and guide architectural decisions
  • Develop scalable applications using Node.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Balance hands-on coding with leadership and mentoring responsibilities
  • Collaborate with remote teams across Latin and North America
  • Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD, testing, and cloud infrastructure
  • Work closely with product and design teams to deliver impactful solutions
  • Uphold engineering best practices and foster team growth
  • Manage progress, mitigate risks, and report effectively to stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development
  • 3+ years in a technical leadership or staff engineer role
  • Advanced knowledge of Node.js, React, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and SQL/PostgreSQL
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) for daily remote collaboration
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
