Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Risk Manager to oversee the performance of our portfolios, utilizing data analysis and statistical tools to drive informed decision-making.


Responsibilities
  • Extract and manipulate data from SQL and R or Python to make actionable recommendations for portfolio optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to develop and implement machine learning models that optimize portfolio outcomes.
  • Design and execute A/B tests with cross-functional teams to improve product offerings and reach more customers.
  • Document findings and recommendations in clear, concise language.
  • Own risk Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for one or more portfolios.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 4+ years of experience in risk management functions in fintech or commercial banking, working with credit cards or other consumer lending products.
  • Experience with scaling products from 0 to scale in a fast-paced startup environment is an advantage.
  • End-to-end problem-solving skills, including framing of the problem, analytical research, discussion/debate, and presentation of solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of statistical tools and methods, and experience working with large data sets.
  • Mastery of SQL, Python, and other tools for data analysis.
