Maintaining a secure and organized inventory is crucial to the success of any operation.

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing stock levels, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, minimize waste, and maximize efficiency.

In addition to strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing stock
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, using computerized systems where applicable
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with inventory management

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably in the marine or petroleum industry
  • Experience with PC-based materials inventory control systems (AMOS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including supply chain optimization and risk management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
