Job Overview

The ideal candidate will provide support to the Human Resources department across the Latin America region, contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives in alignment with company policies.

\

This role plays an important part in promoting the harmonization of HR processes across all regions and functions within the organization.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions during the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Reporting: Prepare and provide regular reports related to the functions and activities of the department.
  • Data Management: Update Excel files with essential information for bonus calculations and performance reviews.
  • Employee Support: Assist employees with the SSAB People system and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Performance Management: Support employees during Performance Management (Annual Reviews) and provide feedback on their performance.
  • Document Management: Maintain and update employee document folders based on received information and ensure confidentiality.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in the implementation of HR process automation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Communicate celebration announcements (birthdays, work anniversaries, etc.) and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Contribute to projects aimed at increasing diversity within the organization and promote a culture of inclusivity.
  • General Support: Provide general support for human resources routines and tasks as required.

Qualifications:

\
  • Education: Currently attending college, preferable Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field of studies.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English skills and proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Computer proficiency skills (Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Soft Skills: Commitment to learning, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude, excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results Orientation: Focus in achieving results, being organized and working with deadlines.
  • Ethics and Values: Be ethical, empathic and identify with organizational values.
