About the Job:
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and services for data and analytics. This includes a deep understanding of GCP data and analytics services and architecture, as well as experience with DataFlow, DataProc, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and related tools and technologies.
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain GCP modules and services for data and analytics, including developing data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP data and analytics services and programming languages like Python and SQL.
You will collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs. Additionally, you will develop automation and orchestration scripts to deploy and manage GCP data and analytics resources using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure GCP infrastructure and services for data and analytics
- Develop data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP data and analytics services and programming languages like Python and SQL
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Develop automation and orchestration scripts to deploy and manage GCP data and analytics resources
- Maintain high levels of data quality, accuracy, and integrity
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of GCP development experience
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL for developing data pipelines and ETL processes
- Experience in scripting and automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
