Senior Game Programmer Job Description

Our organization is seeking an accomplished Senior Game Programmer to spearhead the development of high-profile multiplatform games. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in game development and experience working with cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and test game systems, including matchmaking, telemetry, stat reporting, and replay features.
  • Develop innovative solutions to ensure optimal performance, low memory footprint, and seamless over-the-air updates for games.
  • Collaborate with designers and other programmers to establish industry-best guidelines and best practices for developing immersive online environments.
  • Participate in code review sessions, sprint planning, and identify potential risks and assumptions in features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of multiplayer game systems and object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level programming languages and version control systems (Git).
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of game engine architecture, agile methodologies, and microservices.
