Game Development Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned game development engineer to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality game systems in Unity Engine.

You will work closely with designers, animators, and artists to bring their vision to life. Your primary activities will include:

  • Designing and implementing game mechanics and features
  • Implementing automated testing and tooling to support asset pipelines
  • Debugging and fixing crashes, concurrency issues, and platform-specific problems
  • Researching and proposing improvements to processes and pipelines
  • Owning key engineering features and providing documentation and training

As a senior team member, you will also mentor other developers to ensure they gain technical knowledge and skills. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software development principles
  • Experience working with at least one enterprise-level object-oriented programming language (preferably C#)
  • Comfortable working in both Windows and MacOS Unity environments developing for Mobile platforms
  • Strong math skills with emphasis on 3D vector math

Prior experience with commercially released titles using Unity and strong understanding of game engine architecture are major plus.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience required.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience with commercially released titles using Unity, strong understanding of game engine architecture, experience working with agile methodologies, and experience working on an environment with microservices and Web APIs are preferred.
