Job Summary

This role is a Site Manager based on-site in the UAE, requiring relocation. ALEC will be holding interviews in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Bogotá.

ALEngineering and Contracting (ALEC) is a leading GCC construction company known for delivering complex projects. With over 20 years of experience, we operate across sectors including airports, hospitality, retail, and high-rises. We have delivered many iconic developments in the UAE, functioning as a fully integrated contractor with specialist business units providing end-to-end construction solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all finishing aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and control site plans for finishing works, accurately estimating human and material resources.
  • Create, implement, and enforce comprehensive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) plans on site.
  • Lead and motivate construction teams, ensuring clear communication and high performance.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team to monitor and control construction costs, addressing any anomalies.
  • Establish and maintain a quality management system and control plan for finishing works.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, and stakeholders for project updates.
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings, tender documents, and contracts effectively.
  • Monitor productivity and progress, ensuring accurate measurement and recording of works.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Construction or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in construction, preferably in finishing works.
  • Strong leadership, planning, communication, and commercial skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Sound knowledge of HSE standards and quality control procedures.
