Job Title: Application Engineer Manager

At Cadence Design Systems, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Application Engineer Manager to lead our verification team and drive innovation in the field of functional verification and system validation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Field Application Engineers to understand customer needs and provide guidance on the best technologies and methodologies to deploy.
  • Oversee teams in areas such as simulation, verification methodologies, regressions, emulation, prototyping, and formal verification.
  • Provide technical support in the pre and post-sales process and work with the FAE and account team to develop innovative solutions to address customer challenges.
  • Engage and lead AE team on pre-sales technical campaigns from the technical side, working with Sales and Marketing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide resolution to customer technical issues.
Requirements:
  • BSE or graduation in related areas.
  • Track record of experience leading a technical team.
  • Excellent RTL understanding and coding.
  • 6+ years of experience in functional verification.
  • Knowledge of Unix, C/C++.
  • Strong interest in contributing to customer success with related technical interest in EDA, HDL's, and Logic Design.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
