Key Role in Finance Strategy

The role of a finance analyst plays a pivotal part in supporting the analysis and structuring of financing transactions, assessing market rates, debt and equity alternatives, and applying advanced financial models. The position contributes to designing financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for corporate and project transactions, including financing options.
  2. Review and validate financial models prepared by external advisors, ensuring consistency with company assumptions and industry best practices.
  3. Analyse and validate technical and financial assumptions together with specialized teams, assessing their impact on results.
  4. Conduct thorough market rate analysis and evaluate its effect on projects and financing structures.
  5. Assess financing options (debt and equity), supporting the structuring and negotiation of alternatives.
  6. Support capital raising processes (debt and equity), including preparation of financial materials, participation in due diligence, and interaction with investors and financial institutions.
  7. Prepare and contribute to capital presentations for investors, the board of directors, and other key stakeholders.
  8. Coordinate with internal departments (technical, legal, commercial) and external advisors to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
  9. Conduct market and risk analysis to support investment and financing decisions.
  10. Prepare financial reports, presentations, and executive summaries for management, investors, and other relevant audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally in investment banking, M&A, and/or debt financing.
  3. Advanced skills in financial modelling and analytical tools.
  4. Fluency in English and Portuguese (mandatory).
  5. Spanish is an asset.
  6. Proactive, versatile, and curious profile with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
