Financial Business Support Specialist

We are looking for an Accountant Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and general financial business support to assigned teams, handling a variety of functions to ensure that operations and internal and external customer needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute accounting routines and standards with high accuracy to ensure compliance with terms.
- Develop accounting rules within the financial management system.
- Maintain knowledge of ancillary obligations related to taxes, social security, and corporate areas, in accordance with established guidelines.
- Analyze invoices to ensure fiscal and tax compliance.
- Operate the financial/accounting system, ensuring correct issuance and accounting coding in line with company standards.
- Manage employee payroll accounting with accuracy in entries and tax collection.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, multitask and possess strong initiative, exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail are paramount; accuracy is a must.
- Possess organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize, be detail oriented and results driven.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with payroll and strong knowledge of related practices.
- Experience with tax withholdings and tax legislation.
- Experience with invoicing.
- Experience in process improvement and/or lean six sigma processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related major from a public or accredited private academic institution is preferred.
- Professional certifications in accounting or finance would be an advantage.
