Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing technical security controls that ensure threats are automatically identified, contained, and remediated.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of security architecture and market-leading security tools. You will be responsible for analyzing and improving our security architecture, evaluating and selecting new security tools and practices, and identifying, containing, and guiding the remediation of security threats and cyber attacks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical security controls to identify, contain, and remediate security threats and cyber attacks
  • Analyze and improve our security architecture to ensure it is robust and resilient
  • Evaluate and select new security tools and practices to stay ahead of emerging threats
  • Identify and prioritize security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of our business
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of threat modeling and risk management frameworks
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to inform our security strategy
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic track record with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM
  • Previous professional experience working in a security operations center or a similar environment
  • Deep personal motivation to stay at the forefront of technology security
  • Expertise in threat modeling and risk management frameworks
  • Knowledge of security architecture and market-leading security tools
  • Experience contributing to and consuming threat intelligence feeds
  • Experience in security risk management frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO27001
